You and Get Set Clean


These terms of use, together with our privacy policy (which may be updated from time to time), will govern your use of the Techcom Enterprise platform ("GET SET CLEAN"). This agreement will govern your use of GET SET CLEAN. GET SET CLEAN is an online booking platform to introduce you the customer, (“you, “your business” “Customer”, “Landlord”) to a domestic service agent (“Service Agent”) for your premises.


The term “our” or “us” or “we” refers to GET SET CLEAN which is the trading name of Techcom Enterprise Ltd whose registered office is The Fold, 114 Station Road, Sidcup, Kent, United Kingdom, DA15 7AE.


GET SET CLEAN’s platform can also be accessed using GET SET CLEAN’s App associated with this site as advertised (“GET SET CLEAN’s App”). These terms apply also to the installation of GET SET CLEAN’s App and its use by your to obtain GET SET CLEAN’s services.


COVID-19 and Other Infectious Diseases

Our Service Agents are skilled in the general cleaning of your property and living spaces. They do not offer a service that is designed or intended to guarantee the control or elimination of COVID-19 or other infectious diseases.
Our Service Agents will be happy to adapt to cleaning in line with reasonable protocols you decide should be put in place in order to deal with COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, such as a ‘deep clean’ service, however it is your responsibility to design and direct what protocols to implement to suit your requirements in countering any infectious outbreaks. 
At no point therefore do we or our Service Agents accept liability, to the extent permitted by law, for the control or elimination of COVID-19 or other infectious diseases in carrying out the cleaning services.
Should you wish for our Service Agents to practise a particular hygiene routine during attendance at your property please let us know in advance so that we can accommodate your needs to the extent reasonably practicable.

Booking Platform


At no time will you be contracting with us to provide the cleaning services and you will be responsible for contracting with your Service Agent and other than GET SET CLEAN and GET SET CLEAN’s App functioning “as is” we take no part in the relationship between you and your Service Agent. You agree therefore that any dispute concerning the service provided by your Service Agent is as between you and them only.


Landlord Services: We are able to offer Booking services to those who have guests staying in their accommodation whether short or long term. At first you will need to register with GET SET CLEAN and agree to these terms and conditions including in addition those specifically labelled below. Thereafter you may either book through GET SET CLEAN or directly with us. Your subsequent Bookings will be subject to these terms and conditions whether you book direct with us or using GET SET CLEAN.

Tenancy Services: Please note we do NOT offer pre-tenancy or end-of-tenancy cleaning services. Whilst we make this clear on our Booking Platform, should you make a Booking for such services and we are required to cancel this Booking we will make a charge for this cancellation in accordance with our cancellation Terms below. Unfortunately, these cancellation charges are unavoidable as we need to pass on charges that we incur as a result of setting up such Bookings only for them to be cancelled later or at short notice.

Commercial Services: We offer cleaning at non-domestic premises such as offices, schools etc. You should book directly with us and will not need to register with us but you must otherwise agree to these terms and conditions including in addition to those specifically labelled below applicable to the services you receive.




When you use GET SET CLEAN, you will be asked to register with us and choose a unique username, password, and other details as directed and provide details of an acceptable method of payment.


Use of GET SET CLEAN is strictly by registration only and in doing so you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms of use, which together with our privacy policy, govern our relationship with you and/or your business in relation to each use of GET SET CLEAN by you. Where you are registering on behalf of a business or organisation you are hereby representing that you are authorised to agree to these terms on behalf of that company or organisation.


You are permitted to use your registration with GET SET CLEAN for your personal use or for the purposes of your business in accordance with these terms only. You are responsible for keeping your password/user details confidential as the registration is personal to you and we take no responsibility for another using your registration details. We reserve the right to terminate your registration immediately if any details provided by you are found to be false or are allowed to be misused by others.


Please note that usually, we do not transfer accounts between different people registering. If you believe this is necessary please contact us through GET SET CLEAN to see if we can assist you.


Communicating with you


When Booking with us we will need to communicate with you as part of providing the services for you. This will result in you receiving notifications via your contact details to keep you updated.


Should you not wish to receive push notifications to your phone you will need to change the settings on your phone. However note that should you change your phone settings to prevent push notifications then we will be unable to notify any modifications or messages relating to your Booking in that way. You will therefore receive notifications by email and you must therefore monitor your email messages on a continuing basis. Should you miss a time critical email that we have sent, we will automatically charge you for charges you incur.


Your Service Agent


It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself whether or not to give your Service Agent entry to the premises. Any person offering domestic cleaning services through GET SET CLEAN has undergone certain checks by us as advertised however we cannot guarantee that such information, supplied by third parties as it is, is accurate and we do not accept responsibility for such accuracy or liability for persons who violate these terms.


GET SET CLEAN introduces both you and your Service Agent to each other and we ask that you and your Service Agent treat each other courteously and lawfully.


You should request re-bookings for your Service Agent through GET SET CLEAN though if you would like to re-book with the same individual then please let us know and we shall accommodate that so far as possible.


Your Service Agent will be able to inform you of what equipment they require you to provide However in the first instance please ensure that you have access to normal household (or in the case of Commercial clients, standard for your premises) cleaning equipment and materials such as mops, brushes, irons, etc according to the work you wish to be done. You are able to indicate when booking whether you require your Service Agent to supply cleaning products for their use whilst providing the service, but if you have not you will be expected by your Service Agent to have sufficient materials available on the premises.


Please note that a Booking primarily concerns the cleaning of a property. If the state of the property is such that it presents an obstacle to cleaning then we may require payment of a further fee, take longer to carry out the service or to treat it as a cancellation by you, if extensive tidying is required as well. Please do discuss this with your Service Agent at the outset should you have any concerns.


To protect you and damage to your property and to assist in the resolution of disputes, in certain circumstances your Service Agent may wish to take photographic evidence of the premises to be cleaned. These pictures will be held by us only and will only be accessed in the event of a dispute. You hereby consent to this happening. Should you object to this happening you may, of course, prevent your Service Agent from doing so, however, we reserve the right to cancel the Booking and refund your Booking Fee if in the reasonable opinion of the Service Agent the Booking made does not accurately reflect the state of the premises to be cleaned.




You should request an appointment slot as shown on GET SET CLEAN.


You will be required to confirm payment after which we will confirm that you have requested a booking with us. This confirmation is a mere acknowledgement and IS NOT AN ACCEPTANCE of the booking by us. We will confirm the Booking or let you know of alternative time slots available using the contact details you provide. 


Our normal appointment slots are Monday to Saturday at times indicated on GET SET CLEAN. Should you require appointments at other days or times please contact us direct by phone or email using the contact details supplied. Though we cannot guarantee to meet your requirements please do not hesitate to ask. Please note that appointment times outside those indicated on GET SET CLEAN will attract higher charge rates.


Landlord Services


In the event you are Booking as a Landlord, the following additional terms apply. Please let us know at the time of the Booking request if you are requesting this service.


Booking Times: We realise that the best appointment times to work around guests changing over may be quite limited, for example between 11am – 2pm. We would like to assist you but please be aware that appointment slots are subject to availability. We cannot guarantee keeping the same appointment slots for repeat Bookings though we will use our reasonable endeavours to do so.


Advance Booking: You should try to make a Booking with us at least 48 hours in advance of the appointment time for the best chance of securing the appointment slot most convenient to you, though slots remain subject to availability.


Linen & Toiletries Top-Up Service 


As part of our Commercial and Landlord Services, we can arrange for a third party provider to supply fresh linen and/or toiletry supplies, including the toiletry containers. This service is subject to availability. Alternatively you may arrange such supplies yourself.


Your Service Agent will then change the linen and top-up the toiletries provided. Please note:


  1. where you require this service you will need to contact us to discuss this, using the contact details supplied, unless they are within the scope of those available through GET SET CLEAN;

  2. the linen supplied by us will be freshly laundered but not brand new;

  3. should you be arranging supply of the items other than from GET SET CLEAN and the delivery of those supplies is delayed then we will charge for any additional time that our Service Agents remain present or return in order to change the linen / install new toiletries. As we know this is time critical for you we will carry out such work though we will attempt to contact you as soon as possible to confirm this;

  4. should linen we supply be damaged by your guests then a charge covering the damage, whether by repair or replacement will be made to your payment card. We will make reasonable endeavours to obtain undamaged linen for your guests. Should the linen you supply be damaged we will rely on your supplier of linen for this and we can bear no responsibility for not being able to fit undamaged linen;

  5. we make a charge for collection of the toiletry containers and last sets of linen at the end of a series of repeat Bookings. The level of this charge is indicated on GET SET CLEAN.


General: Payments & Charges


We will take payment from you only when both you and we have agreed the time slot for the Booking and only at that point will we be contracted with you to arrange the services. Payments (other than the deposit on Booking set out below) may be taken before, during or after the Booking has been completed.


GET SET CLEAN provides a payment mechanism for your Service Agent’s charge including cleaning or other materials you wish your Service Agent to provide and payment must be taken from you through GET SET CLEAN when making your Booking. We use a third party payment provider as identified on GET SET CLEAN to handle these payments.


We use a 2-step authentication 3D secure payment system supplied by this third party payment provider. If authentication of your payment details cannot be supplied through this system then we will be unable to confirm your Booking. In this event, we are unable to guarantee providing you with reasons for authentication failure.


When you register your credit or debit card with us, we will charge all present and future charges for Bookings you request from GET SET CLEAN using this credit or debit card, whether through our automated system or in direct correspondence with us. By proceeding with your registration with us you hereby consent to this charging of your credit or debit card.


Should you wish to change your credit or debit card details please contact us directly. All payments methods will need to be processed to go through the 2-step authentication 3D secure payment system that we use. 


Invoices: where we have arranged with you outside of GET SET CLEAN to charge you by invoice we reserve the right to raise invoices at any time during or after the provision of services. We will send that invoice to using your chosen method of electronic communication. Where you or your organisation are registered on GET SET CLEAN we reserve the right to settle such invoice as soon as the invoice is raised using the payment card supplied by you through our payment system. In all other cases, invoices are payable within 14 days of the date of invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest of 8% on any amounts unpaid on any invoice after the due date for payment. 


Charges: Charges for domestic services for Bookings available through the platform are as advertised on GET SET CLEAN at the time of your Booking request and we reserve our right to amend these charges at any time prior to you confirming your booking, though this will give you the opportunity to not confirm the Booking. If we are unable to take payment from you then we will not confirm the booking. 


Deposit: Upon first applying for a Booking we will charge you a deposit against cancellation as indicated on GET SET CLEAN. This deposit will then be taken into account when we take full payment on the day of your Booking.


VAT: All applicable VAT is included in your payment through GET SET CLEAN.


Repeat Bookings: should you request repeat Bookings over an extended period, we reserve the right to increase our charges but will notify of any such increase prior to the next appointment being arranged.




Any disputes you may have with your Service Agent contacted through GET SET CLEAN should be taken up with your Service Agent direct whilst they are on the premises though if they have left your premises you may contact us directly to assist you in resolving such disputes. By your continued use of GET SET CLEAN you agree to use GET SET CLEAN on this basis.


Cancelling a Service Agent


Subject only to your rights as a consumer booking online as set out below, GET SET CLEAN will charge you a fee for cancelling a Service Agent if cancellation is made less than 24 hours prior to your Service Agent’s appointment. The fee for cancellation shall be that advertised on the GET SET CLEAN website at the time you apply your booking and you agree that this represents a reasonable charge for us and your Service Agent to risk not finding other gainful work in this period. You hereby agree that we may take such a payment from you automatically using the payment method you registered with.


If the Service Agent has arrived at the address indicated by you and has made 1 attempt to call you and you have not granted access to your Service Agent than the Service Agent may cancel the booking which will be treated as a cancellation by you.


Domestic services: If you cancel more than 24 hours prior to your Service Agent’s appointment then any deposit paid for that booking will be refunded without charge. 


Landlord and Commercial services: Where you are a Landlord or Commercial client there is no statutory right to cancel your Booking. If you do wish to cancel your Booking please contact us directly and we may be able to assist with a re-Booking, however we cannot guarantee that this will be possible, especially in the event that the Service Agent has been unable to find other work with the notice given.

Tenancy Services: As set out above we reserve the right to levy a charge in the event, unknown to us, your Booking is for pre-tenancy or end-of-tenancy cleaning services. Should the nature of this Booking become known to us in good time prior to the Booking then the charge to be deducted from your deposit will be limited to administrative charges which we ourselves incur through our payment platform. However should the nature of this Booking become known to us only once the Service Agent has arrived at the property, then we will levy a charge of £25 to cover to administrative charges including those incurred through our payment platform and in sending out our Services Agent in a Booking.

All cancellation fee rates are advertised either herein or on GET SET CLEAN.


Consumer Cancellation Rights


Where you are acting as a consumer you may cancel your booking at any time within 14 working days of our confirming your appointment in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations in force unless you have requested (and we have confirmed) a Booking within that period in which case the time limited for the above cancellation charge applies.


Cancellation should be sent to us through the website as indicated using your online registration. If cancelled correctly we will refund you with the amount you originally paid for the product within 14 days from the date on which we received notice of cancellation.


Part of our contract with you is to ensure that a Service Agent is reserving their time just for your Booking. Should you cancel your Booking less than 24 hours prior to the Booking then we reserve the right to charge you the full or part fee for that Booking in the event the Service Agent is unable to accept an alternative Booking.




In the event your Service Agent does not present themselves at the appointment you should notify us within 24 hours through the GET SET CLEAN site or GET SET CLEAN’s App in which case at your option we shall make a full refund. Alternatively we will use reasonable endeavours to re-arrange a visit and the sooner you can let us know about a no-show the sooner we can attempt to put alternative arrangements in place. 


Please note that, whilst we will arrange a refund of your payment, we cannot accept any additional liability for failure of your Service Agent to attend. We are unable to accept liability due to circumstances beyond our control for delays or failure in attendance of your Service Agent such as but not limited to public transport delays and cancellations or disruptions to traffic.


Cancellation by Us


If we need to cancel a Booking we may do so at any time prior to the booking giving you notice using your contact details and we shall refund your booking fee.




We have used our time and resources in introducing your Service Agent to you and you are not permitted to engage your Service Agent directly without payment of an introductory fee to us based on our charges as advertised from time to time for a period of 12 months after your first Booking with your Service Agent




If you are or we suspect you are in breach of any of the terms of this Agreement or you have become bankrupt this Agreement will terminate immediately and your registration with GET SET CLEAN will be deleted.GET SET CLEAN is not liable for loss or damage to you for terminating its use of GET SET CLEAN in these circumstances.


We may terminate this agreement with you for any other reason on giving you 7 days’ notice. Subject to terms on cancellation of bookings, you may cancel your registration at any time, however, we take no responsibility for erasing your details from our records unless and until (and then within a reasonable time only) you notify us that your registration should be terminated. Data may be stored by us and where relevant will be held in accordance with our privacy policy.


Liability & Indemnity


With respect to the cleaning service:you acknowledged above that the cleaning service does not fall within the contract you have with us and therefore we accept no liability for the performance of the cleaning services. However as mentioned above also we reserve the right to assist you with settlement of disputes with your Service Agent and we hold insurance for damage to property with an excess that may vary from time to time and you hereby agree that in the event of any claim made against such insurance you shall be liable for any excess applied.


With respect to the booking service:To the extent permitted by law GET SET CLEAN, the website, GET SET CLEAN’s App and the content and services supplied thereunder are provided to you “as is” without any warranties of any kind, express or implied with regard to but not limited to their quality, reliability, compatibility, security, performance, purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. You agree to assume all risks of using the software its function and service and not to hold us responsible for any damages, losses or harm tangible or intangible including but not limited to compensatory, consequential punitive, incidental or lawyer’s fees arising from the use of the web site its function and service or the content of the service.


We do not guarantee the continued availability of the website, GET SET CLEAN’s App, the content or service. We reserve the right without notice and without liability to suspend the website for repair, maintenance, improvement or other technical reason.


We make no attempt to exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation but in all other cases limit our liability for negligence to either the fee payable to your Service Agent or £100 whichever is the higher.


You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless, us and/or our associates, subsidiaries, their officers, directors, employees, affiliates, licensees, business partners and agents, from and against any claims, actions or demands, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees resulting from any breach by you of any of these Terms.


If any of the terms are illegal or unenforceable it does not affect or invalidate the other terms.


Introductions & Third Party Sites


You may have been referred to our services from third parties sites such as AirBnB, Booking.com or similar. Whilst we are pleased to have you visit us, please note that we are a separate organisation from these third parties and are not part of the services they provide. We can take no responsibility for services or information supplied by third parties even if they purport to do so on our behalf.


All information relating to our services can be found on our website but if you have any further questions you should contact us and not such third parties.


Data Protection Compliance


We hold and process your data securely in accordance with relevant Data Protection legislation as it comes into force including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Please see our privacy policy for further details.


In accordance with those rules, we engage reasonable data security standards applicable in the industry. However, from time to time criminals may attempt to steal data and no security system can prevent all hacking therefore we exclude liability for theft of your data and consequential loss where the loss or misuse of data has resulted despite our taking reasonable security measures to prevent this.




You are responsible for any data, information or review you send through or to GET SET CLEAN. Any information you send must be your honestly held belief based on reasonable identifiable factual information. You should not include in your reviews any names or personal details of individuals. You must not send in any data that is abusive, illegal, defamatory or breaches people’s rights of privacy. You must keep your registration details up to date at all times. Access to GET SET CLEAN and GET SET CLEAN’s App is for your own personal use and we will hold you liable for any misuse made of GET SET CLEAN using your registration details.


When a Booking has been completed and subject to our privacy policy, we will send you a request that you provide feedback on the service you have received. This is valuable as it can assist us in supplying you with a better service next time. However should you wish not to receive such requests please unsubscribe from them. You will find information on how to do this in the request. If after unsubscribing from such requests, you wish to provide feedback please let us know using the contact details on our website.


Information on GET SET CLEAN


From time to time GET SET CLEAN may supply useful tips, hints and new products relating to household cleaning to you. Any information is provided “as is” and without any checking and it is your responsibility to make your own checks to ensure that such tips, hints or new products are useful, safe or appropriate. Accordingly, we do not take any responsibility for your use of such tips, hints or new product information supplied.


Please note that the functioning of the Website or App may be modified from time to time without further notice. We reserve the right to do this at any time. We would not intentionally restrict any Booking agreement you have made as a result of this however if you have any concerns in the event of a modification please contact us.


You will find our answers to Frequently Asked Questions on this site. They do not constitute terms of our agreement with you nonetheless they provide our policies on the delivery of services under the agreement with you. Other helpful hints and advice are available on GET SET CLEAN but they do not constitute part of this agreement.


The copyright and other intellectual property rights including in trademarks, photographs, software and other material on GET SET CLEAN and GET SET CLEAN’s App and its associated documentation are owned by GET SET CLEAN. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. 


Law & General


We reserve the right to vary any of the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the change you may then forthwith terminate your registration. We shall be entitled to assign or sub-contract our obligations under this agreement. No delay by us to enforce our rights will affect our right to bring action against you for breach of this agreement. This agreement shall be subject to English law. Any dispute relating to it shall be dealt with exclusively in the English courts based in London except that the parties are obliged prior to commencing any court proceedings to undertake mediation using a mediator agreed between the parties and if not agreed then one chosen by the British Institute of Facilities Management, such costs being shared equally between the parties.




Confirmation of Distance Selling Contract 


Your Right to Cancel


We confirm your order has been processed. Should you have any questions or queries concerning your booking you should click on the link LOGIN which will take you to a page on our website where you can contact us, or you call us on 020 3536 3616 charged at the standard rate.


You may cancel an order for the introduction of a Service Agent to you within 14 days from the day on which you make the booking. If cancelled correctly we will refund you with the amount you originally paid for the services within 14 days from the date we received notice of cancellation. If you ask for a service to be carried out within the 14 day cancellation period you will not have the benefit of the full 14 day period.


Part of our contract with you is to ensure that a Service Agent is reserving their time just for your Booking. Should you cancel your Booking less than 24 hours prior to the Booking then we reserve the right to charge you the full fee for that Booking in the event the Service Agent is unable to accept an alternative Booking.
