Yes. We are a family-run business who really care about our customers and our cleaners. Our platform is easy to use, has secure online payment and we do not charge extra or have hidden fees. On top of this, we can offer professional cleaners who you can trust, flexible online booking and great office support.
Is there a booking fee?
No. We do not require you to pay a booking fee or any other hidden fees.
Does Get Set Clean do 'End of Tenancy'?
No. We do not specialise in this field of work. If you are hoping for this type of job, it would be best to contact a specialist company.
How do I pay?
After your booking is placed, payments can be made through our website with a debit/credit card. The cleaner will not be paid until you confirm your customer satisfaction with the cleaning services provided.
Will I receive a receipt?
Yes. You will receive a receipt sent by email as soon as the payment is confirmed.
What payment options do I have?
Whilst completing online payments with us, you can use your debit/credit card (Visa, Mastercard etc).
Do you accept cash payments?
No. We can only accept card payments for transparency and reliability.
Can I tip my cleaner?
If you are satisfied with the cleaner’s service, it is entirely up to you.
Is my card payment secure and protected?
Yes. Your card payment is 100% secure and protected. We use a professional payment provider (Stripe.com).

How can I delete a booking?
In your account, under each booking, you can find a 'Cancel' button for the bookings that have not yet been completed. However, you can only cancel a booking within a minimum of 24-hours before the date and time of the booking, otherwise, we will retain £20.00 from you.
How can I book a cleaner?
Booking a cleaner is very easy. On the getsetclean.co.uk homepage, enter your postcode and follow the simple online booking process. It only takes a few minutes.
What happens after the first booking is made?
You will automatically receive an email confirmation with all the booking details you have entered (date, time, location, etc). You will also be able to see which cleaner has been assigned to you and check out her/his profile on the website.
What would be the appropriate amount of hours for a cleaning session?
When booking online, you will see some fields you need to complete, for example, how many bedrooms and how many bathrooms need to be cleaned. You can also choose additional services such as window cleaning, inside cleaning, and ironing. Depending on the services you choose, we will estimate the amount time you should book for your cleaning session.
What happens if the time I booked isn't enough?
The cleaner that has been assigned to you will always let us know if the time is not enough and we will contact you to check if you can allow us some additional time. However, the cleaner will do as much as possible in the allocated time. It is up to you how many hours you want to book and our cleaners will do their very best in the time you've booked.
Can I book a regular cleaner for my house at the same time and day?
We will do everything possible for the cleaner to be scheduled at the same time and day if that is what you wish. Please note: All the cleaners travel by public transport and we are not responsible for the delays caused by strikes, road accidents, traffic, etc. We try to anticipate such delays and discuss with our cleaners appropriate buffer times for them to reach your house at the scheduled time.
Should I be at home when the cleaner comes for the first time or can I leave my key somewhere safe for the cleaner to find it?
That is up to you. However, if you are at home and can explain to the cleaner exactly what you would like to be cleaned, it obviously helps. It enables a better service if you can point out where bin bags, rubbish bins, vacuum cleaners and mops are kept. If you are not able to meet the cleaner, leave such items out and place the key somewhere secure and communicate with cleaner its location through the messaging platform on our website or on the official Get Set Clean app. After completing the booking, the cleaner will lock the door and post the keys through the letterbox unless other arrangements have been made or specified by you.
If I am satisfied with the cleaner, is it possible to have him/her assigned to me again?
Yes. When booking you should mention you want to have the same cleaner as last time. If you know their name and can specify it in the booking progress, it would be even more helpful for us.
Can I give the cleaner a set of keys?
Yes. Most of our customers let their cleaners have a set of keys - in order to make their access easier to the house. Most will do it however after the first booking has been completed. If you do choose to give the cleaner a set of keys, Get Set Clean do not take responsibility for the keys as it is an agreement between you and the cleaner. We would, of course, endeavour to ensure all keys are returned to the customer and we only trade with trustworthy and reference-checked cleaners.
What types of cleaning products should I have in the house for the cleaner?
Please provide the following cleaning products for the cleaner: - bathroom sanitizer - liquid limescale remover cleaner - toilet cleaner - glass cleaner - multi-surface kitchen cleaner - floor cleaner - dusting cloths - rubber gloves - kitchen type sponge - metal/steel sponge - hoover - mop and bucket - bin bags for kitchen/rubbish bin.
Can the cleaner bring his/her own cleaning products?
Yes. The cleaner can bring some products (e.g. window cleaner, bathroom cleaner, kitchen cleaner, multi-surface cleaner, etc) alongside cloths that he/she will use in your house if you request this service. Please note: For this service, you will be charged on top of the booking's initial price and the cleaning products and cloths that will be used in your house will not be left there after the cleaning is completed. Please check the booking page for the most current prices regarding this. You must have a working vacuum cleaner, and a mop and bucket in functional condition as our cleaners are unable to travel with such items.
How can I reschedule a booking?
You will have to cancel your existing booking (in no less than 24-hours beforehand, otherwise you will be charged £20) and make another booking for the day and hour you would rather prefer.
Can I rate a cleaner from Get Set Clean?
Yes. Your feedback is very important to us.
Can I trust the cleaners?
Yes. Entirely. We know and understand how security and peace of mind is vital when allowing people into your home. That is why Get Set Clean makes sure that before hiring any new cleaners, each of them has passed through a rigorous application process including an in-person interview of 2-3 hours. We check their immigration status and that they can work legally in UK, their CRB and at least 2 references. To continue to work with Get Set Clean all of our cleaners must have very high levels of customer satisfaction.
What is the difference between 'Weekly' and 'Fortnightly' cleaning sessions?
When you choose 'weekly' in your booking process, it means that Get Set Clean will send you a cleaner every week on the same day and at the same time as the booking you completed. When choosing fortnightly, this means Get Set Clean will send you a cleaner every two weeks on the same day and time as the first booking you completed.
What does 'One-Off' mean?
When choosing a 'One-Off' in your booking process, it means that Get Set Clean will send you a cleaner at the time and day you prefer for an individual cleaning session with no follow-up. This is subject to availability.
Does 'One-Off' mean 'Deep Clean' or 'End of Tenancy'?
No, it doesn't. When you choose a 'One-Off', the cleaner will complete a basic clean in the allocated time. Get Set Clean does not specialise in 'Deep Cleaning' or 'End of Tenancy' jobs, where teams of specialised cleaners are needed. We recommend that if you need either of these, you look for a cleaning team with expertise in this field, especially for 'End of Tenancy' jobs where your deposit is at risk.
Can I get a cleaner on Sundays or Bank Holidays?
Unfortunately, through the platform you are unable to book a cleaning session on Sundays / Bank Holidays.However, if you run an AIRBNB, we already have AIRBNB customers that require our services on Sundays so please give us a call at 020 3536 3616 and we'll be able to give you more details and help you out.
I run an AIRBNB business, will I have the same price per hour?
The price is the same for everybody. The only time prices are higher are on Sundays and Bank Holidays where we ask from £18.25 per hour in order to motivate our cleaners just a little more.
What is the difference between a normal domestic clean and an AIRBNB clean?
The basics are the same, however our cleaners are trained to be extra mindful in AIRBNB locations. They specifically look at the arrangement of products (e.g. the towels on the bed or the bath products in the bathroom) and will also strive to achieve hotel room standards for you and your guests everyday.
Do you only offer AIRBNB cleaning or are other alternative accommodations able to book cleans?
We advertise AIRBNB simply because it is most popular platform, however we are not a part of AIRBNB or any other organisation. Despite this, we can offer cleaning services for alternative booking platforms such as Booking.com, TripAdvisor, HomeAway and thousands more.
Do you offer other services for AIRBNB clients?
Yes. We currently are able to offer linen rental services and also have toiletries available for you. If you are interested in these services and wish to get a complete price list, please contact us and we will be more than happy to help. Linen must be collected within 21 days of delivery to avoid an extra charge.
